This month’s giveaway is a super basic project report template. It’s in Microsoft PowerPoint and you basically circle the phrases that are appropriate about your project.

It works as a final slide in a presentation to people who aren’t close to your project and it might be all you need on small projects if you manage by exception.

You can change the colours to fit your corporate branding or add a logo. I’ve included a slide that shows you how you can use it, although you could also change the text colour, or highlight the right words with a yellow highlighter, or freehand draw round them – whatever works for you.

This isn’t a detailed status report for in-depth conversations about project progress. It’s a quick hit, high level summary that focuses on the most important project measures.
